		<description>I avoid like the plague any IM file transfer.  With the proliferation of alternative IM clients with questionable compatibility with the standard (read: libgaim), file transfer is just not worth trying.  If its small, email it; if its large, put it on a server.

Your post made me think of a nice addon to the standard IM environment: when a link is sent that contains "youtube.com" or "digg.com" (or is otherwise magically flagged as a time-waster), have your IM client intercept it and tag it in del.icio.us.  Then all the fun can be had on your own time.</description>
