NmapFE Updated

I managed to dig out the Powerbook this weekend to update NmapFE for OSX. Pretty much just an update to nmap 3.70 engine, which provides much faster scanning in some cases.

It’s a bit strange being the sole developer for a project I don’t even use myself, that runs on an operating system I no longer use myself. However, quite a few other people do seem to use it, based on the emails I receive, so I try to keep it updated when I can.

Hello Matthew. Some time ago I sent you an email regarding the integration of NmapFE and the nmap port in the DarwinPorts project (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org). Did you read it? Id’ like to know your opinion on my proposal. If you no longer use Mac OS X this might even lessen a bit the responsability with your users, just maybe…

If for whatever reason you didn’t get my mail, I’d be happy to send it again!

    Thxs,… Juan

I would love to see NmapFE maintained. I have a hard time remembering anything more complicated than nmap -sP 10.1.1.1/16

The GUI is really nice. Very well done.
