This is extremely interesting: Apparently Google has bots scanning IRC networks for links now. It seems this would be a possible way for them to discover resource nodes with little existing inbound or outbound connectivity. Yet another reason simply having a “private” URI for something does not ensure it’s security.(via GoogleWatch)
